Support our 2026 Student Delegation to Kato, Japan!

Our 2026 Student Delegation recently got hit with an unexpected last minute fuel surcharge increase and could use support mitigating those cost for families.

If you would like to help support the 15 students and 3 chaperones traveling to Kato this summer, consider donating toward our Student Ambassador Scholarships.

It is the last weekend to visit the Yashiro Japanese Garden!

Grab your lunch and join us Saturday May 30, 2026 from 12:30pm - 2:00pm for a picnic in the garden. Enjoy an afternoon of memories and to soak in the nature.

2026 Student Delegation Application Reminder!

Deadline to apply for this summer's student delegation to Kato Japan is February 15, 2026!
Application open to all Thurston county high school students.

The trip will be July 11, 2026 - July 22, 2026
Students will have the opportunity to experience life with a host family and partake in a variety of cultural activities. Some past activities included taiko drum lessons, traditional paper making, tea ceremony and trying on traditional clothing!
