Olpe student Daylen B placed 3rd in his class at the Junior Nationals Shorthorn Show in Abilene, TX where he also competed in showmanship, livestock judging and spent the week mentoring younger members. Congrats Daylen! We are proud of you!

Olpe Band member Ella W was selected to take part in the Kansas Shrine Bowl as a member of the Kansas Masonic All-State Marching Band this past weekend at Emporia State! It looks like it was a week full of practice, fun, interviewing band members, and working with a great staff including another Olpe Band Alum Danny Hendricks!! Congrats Ella & Danny! We are proud to call you alumni of OHS!!

Olpe Senior Adrianna S competed in the 4H National Shooting Sports Championships this past week in Grand Island, NE. The competition had 767 participants from 42 states, the largest in its 26 year history. There are 9 shooting disciplines total. Adrianna shot three courses of fire: 50 yard bullseye, 50 yard novelty, and silhouette targets at 100 yds, 77 yds, 50 yds, and 25 yds. She earned National Champion Runner Up - 2nd place overall (out of 77 shooters), 2nd place overall team, 1st place in 50 yd bullseye individual, 2nd place in 50 yd bullseye team, 5th place in novelty individual, 3rd place in team novelty, and 6th place in individual silhouette, team 5th place in silhouette. We are proud of you Adrianna and all your hard work!!
