Guardians of the Children- Sandhills, NC Chapter

Guardians of the Children- Sandhills, NC Chapter We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, dedicated to preventing child abuse and empowering those children who are victims of abuse.

All funds received through donations go directly to our efforts in the community. Together we can make a difference! The Members of GOC are charged with using their individual and collective resources to aid the victims of abuse and neglect. If it is determined that if GOC can benefit a child, we will organize a ride to meet the child and through a ceremony bring the child into our organization. W

hen needed, members may attend court with our little friends. The sole purpose for our physical presence is to assist the child in being less intimidated and frightened while testifying against their abuser. As a body of Bikers, we help empower children to be courageous, even in the face of their ordeals. We stand ready to lend support to our little friends. GOC Members and Supporters are ordinary people who simply care about children. We are parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We enjoy the open road on our iron horses and are here to spread the important message of "No More Child Abuse". The Members of GOC have taken an oath and will enforce with Valor, Truth and Integrity the Mission of this organization. GOC is not just one individual force fighting against child abuse. GOC is a brotherhood of motorcycle enthusiasts banded together for the same cause-our children. Our association as bikers gives GOC unique qualifications to protect our children and the ability to call on resources that might not generally be available to the public at large. Our mission is to send a clear message to all who would abuse children that we are prepared to protect these children through our physical and emotional support. GOC does not condone the use of violence or physical force in any manner. However, if we as a group, or as an individual, must act to prevent the abuse of another child, we will do so. "Valor, Truth & Integrity is the Guardian way"

Where's Macy's Justice?

🌸 Who Was Macy Grace Ditty? 🌸
A name you might not know yet – but one the world should never forget.

Macy Grace Ditty was only two years old when her life was taken by the one who should have protected her above all others.

Her story echoes that of Caylee Anthony in many painful ways:

- Both girls had safe, loving carers until their 'mothers' took that care into their own hands for selfish, unknown reasons.
- Both mothers presented carefully crafted images to the outside world, while behind closed doors their children suffered.
- Both cases involve disturbing details, questions around neglect & a heartbreaking absence of protection when it was needed most.
- Both girls were taken just short of turning three: Macy was just 10 days away & Caylee 54 days.
- & in both cases the 'mothers', who remain at the centre of damning evidence, are free to live their lives, while their daughters were denied theirs.

But Macy wasn’t just a case. Neither was Caylee.
They were children. Real little people with laughter, routines, favourite toys & sparkling personalities.

Macy was known as “Mixie Trixie” or “Fairy Pixie”. She loved Frozen, cuddles & waking up early because if the sky was awake, she wanted to be awake too.

Caylee loved books, singing songs like You Are My Sunshine, dressing up & swimming with her grandparents in the family pool. She made people smile.

We must remember them not just as victims, but as individuals. They were more than the worst thing that ever happened to them.

⏳ So Why Hasn’t There Been Justice for Macy Yet?

Unlike Caylee’s case – where the world watched a high-profile trial that sadly ended in acquittal of the only suspect - Macy’s case still has the potential for justice.
Her ‘mother’, Jeanie Ditty, was charged with first-degree murder back in 2016, after evidence including disturbing photographs & messages surfaced.

But since then, there’s been no conviction.
Why?

There has been:
- A hung jury in March 2020, with jurors voting 10 to 2 for conviction, leading to a mistrial.
- In November 2021, Jeanie was released from jail on a $50,000 unsecured bond while awaiting a new trial.
(She faces two charges: first-degree murder & negligent child abuse, with each charge carrying a $25,000 bond.)
- Multiple delays & postponements.
- Legal motions, including attempts to suppress evidence.
- Court backlogs & issues with scheduling.

Jeanie has been free to live her life since 2021 - something Macy never got the chance to do. She has attempted to blend into society by changing her appearance & even her name, reportedly using aliases such as Jennah, Jarvis & Jenny in an effort to conceal her identity from those she meets.

As if that’s not heartbreaking enough, Jeanie has since had another baby, who is reportedly in her care.
How does someone with pending first-degree murder & child abuse charges have a child in their custody?

Years have passed. Macy’s loved ones are still waiting. There’s still no set court date.
Every day that drags on is another day without accountability.

This isn’t just a delay in paperwork – it’s a delay in truth, in justice & in peace for those who knew & loved Macy.

🧸 More Than a Statistic

It’s easy for people to group children like Macy & Caylee under the label of “child abuse victims” – but that’s not all they were.
They were daughters, granddaughters, nieces - little girls who deserved birthdays, friendships & futures.

They weren’t just stories – they were stories in progress that were cruelly cut short.

Every child like Macy & Caylee has a name, a face, a favourite toy, an innocent giggle – & a whole life that was stolen.

So let’s say their names.
Let’s share their stories.
Let’s not let the world forget them.
Let’s demand that Macy finally has her day in court – because justice delayed is justice denied.

✨ For Macy. For Caylee. For every child who deserved more time.

Please - if you have a platform, consider sharing or covering Macy's story. Let’s get the wheels of justice in motion.

Macy's Aunt Shelly runs the page Justiceformacy where she shares updates on Macy's case as well as memories & photo's of sweet Macy.
