✌🏻Peace Walk 2026✨

Wow!! LiA is so grateful to say we’ve got our first Peace Walk in the books. This event kicked off Campaign Nonviolence and is just one of many events happening worldwide through October 2nd (learn more at: https://paceebene.org/campaign-nonviolence )!

A special thank you to all those that came out and supported on Sunday!! We had so many amazing community organizations, friends, family, and more join us. Whether you came to walk, color, get your face painted, get a cool balloon animal/art, learn more about our community, hula hoop, line dance, listen to live music, saw something was happening and wandered over to check us out, or sent well wishes, we appreciate each and everyone of you! We are so thankful we got to spend the afternoon in our community surrounded by hope, connection, and peace.

Today’s the day! ☮️ We are looking forward to an afternoon of connection, community, and peace. Meet us at Lincoln Park around 2 where we will kick off our walk, rain ☔️ or shine ☀️, and then join us for fun activities and visit some awesome resources and folks in our community that will be tabling. Bring your umbrella, your rain coat, some sunscreen, ya know-all the things to prepare for our WNY weather 😉 See you this afternoon!💜

Dropped a sign off today at the Olean Farmer’s Market to color!! Thanks to the kiddos and others who helped color our sign 🤩

So often we complain, blame and sometimes even shame others and ourselves- but we can stop that unhelpful noise and actually do something that matters. No one has all the "answers" but together we CAN make a difference. If you've said this isn't the world you want to see–please join me in choosing small steps that MATTER. Our Love in Action member, Katie, had so much fun meeting neighbors in the mud kitchen for potato stamping, painting, and play at Canticle Farm's 25th anniversary celebration yesterday!

Canticle will be joining us at the Peace Walk on Sept 20th and hosting a potting zoo with different seeds from around the world 🌱 We hope you can join us and get your hands dirty (literally, figuratively, or both) with the good work of strengthening our community bonds and promoting peace.

We're so excited to grow with you!
