Today I had the awesome opportunity to catch up with one of my students that graduated last year. He's in college studying robotic engineering and he told me over lunch today he'd love to get into animatronics at Disney. He's from Columbia so he invited me to have lunch with him at this great Columbian restaurant in Clearwater. He said the food reminds him of home. It was sooooo good.

So today I awarded Alison Albee as the first recipient of the U MATTER 365 Inc. Mentor Coordinator of the school year. She has done so much to help me mentor as many as I can at Safety Harbor Middle. The award includes flowers, a day at the Safety Harbor Spa with a friend, a $200 shopping spree at Kohls and a $100 Star Bucks card.
Someday maybe....she did get some flowers and her favorite drink from Star Bucks but she deserves so much more.
