📢 Big News from MoneyWise Tax Academy! 🏡📚

We’re embarking on a huge project for our community through MoneyWise Community Outreach, and we need your support!

We’re creating a transitional living community for individuals who have been temporarily displaced. This will be more than just shelter—it will be a steppingstone to stability.

🔹 What We’re Building:
✅ Safe, temporary housing (6-8 months stay)
✅ A communal facility with laundry, bathhouse, toilets, and a kitchen
✅ A learning space focused on financial literacy, credit repair, tax basics, and life skills—things they don’t teach in school
✅ A credit-based system where residents earn progress points through participation, helping them build toward independence

This initiative is about empowerment, education, and stability—helping people get back on their feet for good.

When I first started this nonprofit, my focus was on helping teach our youth how to set themselves up for a better financial future. While that remains a major priority, Hurricane has led me to take on new challenges as well.

I am working to help others apply for funding that have been affected by this hurricane, as well as applying for grants that I can use to help the community. But I am doing all of this on my own, and I could use some help.

Aside from this, I am still making sure all of my Catawba River Accounting & Tax clients are taken care of.

I’ve dedicated countless hours gathering supplies and distributing them to those in need, whether in my beat-up Ford Focus or our old Ford F250 diesel truck. I don’t regret a second of it—but I have to be honest, it does get expensive.
I am committed to helping others in the community in any way that I can.

So far, I haven’t received any outside funding; every effort has been made out of my own pocket. If you’d like to support this mission, any donation is deeply appreciated and is also tax-deductible.
