OCHS has received numerous phone calls and I thought I would clear up the gossip:

We at OCHS have NEVER thrown away Bibles. Last summer, we donated boxes of Bibles to various organizations and currently have several available for our clients if they want one. We still offer Bibles for FREE at the thrift store.

We are a 501(c)3, which means OCHS cannot push one religion or church over another one. What that means is OCHS cannot hold church services or religious services on site. We can post your church or organization 's events and let our clients decide which event they would like to attend.

We are thankful for all our community who donate and support OCHS whatever church you do or don't attend.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

The man himself!! The Easter Bunny has decided to add the Okmulgee County homeless shelter thrift store to his tour this spring!!

Come by and get a free picture, a piece of candy, and enter for a chance to win our raffles!!

Reminder: all proceeds from your purchases at the OCHS Thrift store goes to support our shelter and helps people learn employment skills.
