The Honorable Judge Sheila Stinson serves as President of the RBG Inn of Court. She is a shining example of leadership, integrity, and service in our community. She has approached every role with humility, strength, and compassion, with an unwavering commitment to the people of Oklahoma County.
Appointed as a District Judge in 2020 and re-elected without opposition in 2022, Judge Stinson now serves as Vice-Presiding Judge of the 7th and 26th Judicial Districts, and will step into the role of Presiding Judge in January 2026. Her experience is as deep as it is meaningful: she has presided over Civil, Juvenile, Family, and Domestic dockets, and previously served as Chief District Judge of the Oklahoma County Juvenile Division.
Before taking the bench, she built a successful practice with the Stinson Law Group and even found time to give back as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Judge Stinson’s dedication extends far beyond the courtroom. She has led the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Judicial Conference, and the Rotary Club of North Oklahoma City. Today, she continues to lift others through her volunteer work, including as Chair of the UCO Foundation Board of Trustees and President of her Inn of Court. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, from the OBA Family Law Judge of the Year to the Beacon Award and the Journal Record’s Leadership in Law.
A proud native of Boise City, she and her husband Preston are raising two incredible boys right here in Oklahoma.
Judge Sheila Stinson is a reminder of what dedication, compassion, and hard work can accomplish.
