Unfortunately we woke to the sadness of losing Bear on Christmas morning, but Maple and River are doing so good and Aspen (momma) is making such progress everyday 🥰 She’s been through so much, but is slowly learning to love and trust again 🥰

River and Maple are growing strong! 🐾 Little Bear isn’t gaining weight and needs a little help. He had a B12 injection and fluids yesterday and we’ll be supplementing to help him hopefully get stronger 💙 He’s over here like, ‘Bottle? Guess I’ll give it a try! *angle is misleading trying to one hand feed and get a video, but dont worry baby boy is on his stomach and this was round one introduction so slowly introducing

🎄🐾 Paws & Claus 🐾🎄 was amazing thanks to YOU!
Every cat in the shelter got a special Christmas toy, and we reached about half the dogs too. 🐶🐶🐶
Next year, we’re kicking off even earlier to make sure every pup gets a gift as well.🎄

Sweet Ember is also doing well. She’s happily gaining weight and starting to feel better. She loves kiddos, is so calm on a leash, housebroken, and doesn’t lose her mind when new people visit. Realistically she’s better behaved than our own 😂🤣😂 She deserves a loving home for the holidays 🎄🎄🎄

Unfortunately we lost the smallest boy and girl last night 😭 We know it’s pretty normal, but still heartbreaking 💔 The other three all gained weight overnight though so praying they all grow strong and healthy 🙏🏻

Our fostering endeavor may have escalated a *bit* What happened was, a very pregnant momma was on the euthanasia list, then had her babies yesterday, then all were on the Tuesday euthanasia list and one thing led to another and well.... We have momma and 5 one day old babies. We’ve decided momma is Aspen, the baby boys are Bear, River, and Ridge and the baby girls are Juniper and Maple 🥰 Our little Forest Family 🥰 #

We have our first foster, sweet Ember. She just came home this afternoon, is underweight, was spayed today, and has a respiratory infection, poor girl! We are of course mainly letting her be to adjust these first few days, but by the looks of it, she’s already comfortable 🥰 Can’t wait to share her progress and updates along the way 🐾
