Hey neighbors!

If homeownership is on your someday (or maybe-sooner-than-you-think) list, or you’re already saving for a down payment, having the right information can make the process feel a whole lot less overwhelming- and this workshop could be a good place to start!

Our friends at Neighborhood Housing Services are hosting a Homebuyer Workshop this Saturday, September 26, from 9 am to 4 pm at Keller Williams (5629 N Classen Blvd). The workshop will cover the homebuying basics, including budgeting and preparing financially, understanding credit, financing options, down payment assistance programs, and what to expect throughout the homebuying process. You’ll leave with practical tools and resources to help you take the next step toward homeownership!

Hey neighbor!

Join us on Friday, September 18 from 5-8pm for our annual Neighbors Night Out party! We will have free food, games, a bounce house, and information on resources for SNI programs! It's also a great chance to meet your neighbors!

What a surprise it was last Thursday when we noticed a few of our street toppers had gone up in the neighborhood!

These toppers are a symbol of our neighborhood's desire to showcase who Ross Heights and Pitts Park Neighborhood is, where we are located, and the pride we take in living in our welcoming community. We were fortunate to fund their creation and installation through our Strong Neighborhoods Initiative grant during our first year as an SNI.

Join us on Saturday, April 11 for a community clean up day at 10am! We will be partnering with our friends from OU Big Event to help spruce up the neighborhood. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided! Those interested can meet us at Rhode Island and NE 18th Street.

ROSS HEIGHTS AND PITTS PARK (RHAPP) Neighborhood Association meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 2nd, 6:00 PM at Pitts Recreational Center.

Due to the City’s plan to redesign Pitts Park, we have scheduled for their design team to attend our meeting. Come to get firsthand information and provide your input for what you think would be best in our park.
