We sit with them, listen to their story, and start rebuilding hope — step by step.

At Bridge2Safety OKC, we believe healing begins with stability. That’s why we go beyond emergency placement. We offer workshops that teach real-life skills — from budgeting and meal planning to job readiness and emotional resilience.

💬 Nearly 1 in 3 Oklahomans will experience a housing or financial crisis at some point in their lives.
💬 More than 60% of families in temporary housing are working — they simply can’t afford the cost of rent, food, and transportation all at once.
💬 And across Oklahoma County, a single safe hotel night averages $60–$90, but for a family in crisis, that night can mean everything — warmth, safety, and a moment to breathe.

At Bridge2Safety OKC, we step in during those in-between moments — helping families bridge the gap between crisis and stability with safe nights, care baskets, and hands-on support.

We’re just $900 away from giving a mother and her 3 children a home. 🏡

This family has been through more than anyone should. One of her children is a baby just a few months old. We’ve worked hard to get them this far — she now has a steady job and a home waiting for her that she can afford every month — but we’re still $900 short of getting her fully stable.

That $900 covers the remainder of the housing payment, basic furnishings, and essentials like pots, dishes, and bedding — the things that turn an empty space into a home.

If just 45 people gave $20, the price of one meal out, this mom would finally have her life back. 💞

Funding is low right now while we wait for our fundraiser to be rescheduled, and we need your help more than ever.

💗 Help Keep This Family Safe and Housed 💗

A mother of three — including a baby just a few months old — was about to sleep in her car. We couldn’t let that happen.

Bridge2Safety OKC stepped in to give her family a safe place, food, and support. She’s now working and almost stable — but our emergency funds have run out, and our fundraiser was postponed because of the weather.

We’re a bit short on the payment for her home, and we can’t let her lose the stability she’s fought so hard for.

💗 Weather Update for Play It Forward Family Fundraiser 💗

Due to the forecasted storms and lightning risk for this Saturday, we’ve made the tough decision to reschedule the event for everyone’s safety.

We’ll be announcing the new date early next week, and all of your favorite vendors, games, and prizes will still be part of the fun! 🎪

We’re so grateful for everyone’s excitement, encouragement, and support. This community has shown such big hearts, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you soon — just on a drier, safer day! 🌤️
