4,305 bottles of water. Three days. One incredible community.

During Pride weekend, Doghouse Outreach Foundation volunteers distributed 4,305 bottles of water throughout the 39th Street District and were joined by an amazing 84 community members walking with us in the Pride Parade.

But the real impact was the community connection. From attendees and vendors to neighbors and friends, we heard countless words of gratitude for volunteers who walked the district, checked on people, and helped keep everyone safe and hydrated. Time and again, people stopped to thank us for showing genuine care and support for our community.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who carried cases, walked miles, handed out water, marched with us, and showed up with compassion and heart. You embodied the true spirit of Pride, service, and community.

84 marchers. 4,305 bottles of water. Countless acts of kindness.

Woof, DHO Family! Let’s Talk Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

Doghouse Outreach Foundation is excited to be participating in the 39th Street Pride Parade, and we would love for our community, friends, supporters, and allies to join us! We have multiple groups walking with us!

📅 When: Sunday, June 7th
📍 Lineup: Begins around 4:00 PM
🎉 Parade Starts: 6:00 PM
🐾 Find Us: Spot #18

👕 What to Wear:
Gear is welcome! Please remember this is a family friendly event. Stay legal, stay respectful, and remember that you are representing DHO and our community while participating.

☀️ What to Bring:
• Sunscreen
• Water
• Comfortable footwear
• Positive energy

Hydration is not optional. Consider this your official pup reminder to drink water! We will have plenty on hand!
There will be a float in front and truck In back of our line up. If you need to ride we can facilitate that until all space is taken.

🏳️ Flags:
Bring your pride flags, community flags, and banners! Let’s show the incredible diversity and unity of our amazing community.

🍬 Candy & Giveaways:
Feel free to bring candy or small items to hand out to parade attendees. Please do not throw items into the crowd, as it is considered littering and can create safety concerns.

⛈️ Weather:
Current forecasts show a chance of scattered thunderstorms. Keep an eye on the weather as we get closer to parade time and plan accordingly.

Together we’ll celebrate visibility, community, authenticity, and pride. Let’s show Oklahoma the love, acceptance, and joy that make our community so special.

Outreach Foundation would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Reign XVIII of The Imperial Court of All Oklahoma for naming us a Community Partner.

This honor means more than words can fully express. To stand beside organizations and leaders who work tirelessly to uplift, support, and strengthen our community is something we are incredibly proud of.

At Doghouse Outreach Foundation, our mission has always been rooted in service, education, inclusion, mental health support, and creating spaces where people can authentically be themselves without fear or shame. To have that work recognized by such a historic and impactful organization is truly humbling.

Thank you to Reign XVIII for believing in our mission, for supporting our outreach efforts, and for helping us continue building a stronger, more connected community across Oklahoma. Together, we create spaces where every person is seen, valued, celebrated, and loved.
