DHO is beyond excited to be receiving a donation of items valued at over $50,000, with additional monthly donations to follow. This is a huge testament to the work we’re doing and a reminder that people are noticing and believing in our mission.

These donations will go right back into supporting our community in meaningful ways as we continue expanding what we can offer. We’ve got a lot in the works, including several major projects we’ve been building behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share more soon.

This weekend was truly amazing, and we were ecstatic to see so many new faces joining in on our event, which was a testament to the power and pride of this community. We overcame some technical challenges and still had an incredible time, proving that with determination and teamwork, anything is possible! We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our talented performers and everyone who helped us make this weekend a resounding success, a true celebration of pride and community. Cynthia Doll is always a joy to watch perform and be around, a shining example of passion and dedication. Shantel Mandalay is truly exceptional, and we adore her dearly, we were inspired by her remarkable talent and generosity. Can’t wait to see everyone at our next event, where we will continue to uplift and inspire each other! Big thank you to Steve Blundell and the District Hotel for giving us this amazing and safe venue to be able to have these events and bring the community together, fostering a sense of belonging and connection for this community.

4,305 bottles of water. Three days. One incredible community.

During Pride weekend, Doghouse Outreach Foundation volunteers distributed 4,305 bottles of water throughout the 39th Street District and were joined by an amazing 84 community members walking with us in the Pride Parade.

But the real impact was the community connection. From attendees and vendors to neighbors and friends, we heard countless words of gratitude for volunteers who walked the district, checked on people, and helped keep everyone safe and hydrated. Time and again, people stopped to thank us for showing genuine care and support for our community.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who carried cases, walked miles, handed out water, marched with us, and showed up with compassion and heart. You embodied the true spirit of Pride, service, and community.

84 marchers. 4,305 bottles of water. Countless acts of kindness.
