CHHS Summer Band Camp is in full swing. Tuesday (7/28/26) the club delivered lunch and drinks for 40 students. We will repeat lunch delivery Thursday (7/30/26) for 40.

A gift from Rick Fisher, CHHS Alum, to our Kiwanis Club. Rick took an idea we had discussed on how best to protect our Club Bell when being transported or stored. From that discussion he selected the container and hand fit the bell, and gavel, into the protective foam he cut to fit inside the container. Quite creative and most certainly will adequately protect the contents.

Jerry Nelson, CHHS Class of 1964 and Vietnam Vet, was our guest speaker today. Jerry shared his experience being part of the Veteran's Honor Flight to Wahington DC in April of 2026. A very informative presentation that also contained a few experiences being a Frontline Infantryman during his VN tour.

This framed print will be donated by the club to the VA Convalesent Center in Norman, OK, to recognize the Veterans living there for their military service. The artist, Chebon Dacon, is a Capitol Hill HS alumni, class of 1965, and is a member of the Creek Nation and an inductee into the Creek Hall Of Fame.
