Yesterday, Feb 14, Omega League OKC kicked off our first session of the semester at Northeast Missionary Baptist Church with a powerful mentoring experience focused on collaboration, communication, and making positive choices 🙌🏾🤝🏾✨

Through group learning and shared conversations, these young men strengthened their brotherhood while practicing the decision-making skills that will guide them in school, relationships, and life 👏🏾📚💯

Teamwork and wise decision-making are skills that shape strong leaders! 💪🏾🔥

This past Saturday we had the honor of hosting our Annual Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway 🦃🥧 at Northeast Missionary Baptist Church, where our Brother Michael M McDaniel serves as pastor.

Because of the generosity of our supporters and our community sponsor Project GiveBack — we were able to bless families across the OKC community with full Thanksgiving baskets packed with food, essentials, and a little extra love for the holiday.

Our mentees showed up early, organized the baskets, loaded cars, and made sure every interaction felt warm and personal. Moments like these remind us why service matters and why community is everything.

Mentors also took time to speak with our mentees about the industries they work in, sharing their backgrounds, career paths, and the prerequisites and experience needed to succeed in those fields. It was a powerful moment of exposure, guidance, and real-world insight for the young men.

Omega League had a great campus tour at the University of Central Oklahoma yesterday.

Our young men showed real interest, asked strong questions, and took full advantage of the experience while learning what college life can offer. The campus energy was great, and they represented the organization well.

A sincere thank-you to our mentors and tour guides who continue to make these experiences possible. Every trip like this helps our boys see a little further and dream a little bigger.

This past Saturday night, our Omega League mentee, KhaMauri Rucker, represented with excellence at the Achievement Week Banquet held at the Oklahoma History Center. Dressed sharp and carrying himself with confidence and maturity, KhaMauri stood proudly among community leaders, mentors, and supporters.

Moments like these are a reminder of why we invest in our young men—exposure, growth, and opportunities that help shape their future. We are proud of his presence, his progress, and the way he continues to represent the Omega League with integrity and class.

Last night was a special moment for Omega League! 🙌🏾🏀
For several of our young men, this was their first time ever attending an OKC Thunder game — an experience they will never forget.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Oklahoma City Thunder and the team along with &E for providing tickets and making this opportunity possible. Experiences like this broaden our boys’ horizons and show them they belong in every room and opportunity their future holds.

Thank you to the dedicated men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for your continued mentorship, leadership, and commitment to uplifting our youth. Because of you, these young men enjoyed a night of fellowship, excitement, positive exposure, and a great game!
