We are proud to accept Hunger Free Oklahoma's Hunger for Action Award!
While 2025 brought some significant challenges, including the loss of SNAP-Ed funding, this recognition reminds us why our mission matters. Navigating this transition hasn’t been easy, and saying goodbye to many of our talented team members has been the hardest part.
We are currently using carryover funds to bridge the gap through 2026 as we find new, sustainable ways to keep healthy food accessible for everyone in our state.
To our partners and especially our participants: thank you for standing by us. We are resilient, and we remain committed to fighting for a healthier future for our state!
It is our great pleasure to share that ONIE Project was recognized with the 2025 Hungry for Action Organization Award!
The Hungry for Action Organization Award recognizes organizational contributions to end hunger in Oklahoma. This award is presented to an organization with a demonstration history of collaboration, innovation, care, and commitment to ending hunger and/or the many contributing factors that cause food insecurity.
Thank you to Stephanie DeBerry, Meredith Scott-Kaliki, and the ONIE team for the work you’ve poured into helping Oklahomans eat and live well.
