Downed Bikers Association (DBA) was founded on September 2, 1999, with the underlying goal to proved emotional and financial support through benefit parties and runs. Membership dues provide for the local chapter's operating expenses such as: Post Office Box rental, telephone expenses, website hosting, accounting services, printing and mailing costs. A small portion of membership dues goes to the

National Downed Bikers Association to help grow new chapters. Membership dues entitle members to receive a "member only" t-shirt, DBA patches, pins, and a membership card.

100% of all money's raised at DBA "Benefit" events go to the designated beneficiary of the event. Event costs for venue rental, entertainment and event prizes (raffle gifts/auction items/poker hand payouts) are NOT deducted from the money raised at the event – these costs are normally pre-paid by the event sponsors and/or the local chapter. However, we can make a difference by being there through emotional and financial support.
