Thank you The Oklahoman for helping spread the word about our mission in today's paper! Everyone needs to know about the need for stem cell donors and how big an impact you can have on a patient struggling with blood cancer. This event raised almost $3000 and added 18 potential donors to the DKMS donor registry.

For those in the Talequah/Tulsa area this weekend, Zayden needs our help.
Zayden Jumper, an almost 4 year old Tahlequah boy with Leukemia is hoping for remission a third time, following his second bone marrow transplant from a non-family donor.
There are currently more than 14,000 patients in the US are in need of donors. Unfortunately, more than half of them will not find one due to lack of people on the registry. YOU can help change those odds by registering to be a potential donor.
If you are between the ages of 18-55 and in good health, it only takes a few minutes and the swab of your cheeks to see if you can be a life-saving match for a patient in need. Please come to the park to learn more or sign up online.

Congrats to Sharing America's Marrow - S.A.M for mining the cheeks of Idaho to the tune of 600 new potential marrow donors! The bar is now set for our own "funky-shaped state" when we team up with them in October at H & 8th Night Market to recruit for Delete Blood Cancer. Let's set the new standard.

Idaho you did it!!! This funky shaped state is officially the most swabbed state per capita by the SAM team!!! With the help of some incredible families, volunteers, patients, and donors, over 600 cheeks were swabbed!!! SIX HUNDRED!!! Thank you to everyone who made it happen!
