đź’ś ACAP Educational Partner Spotlight: Senior Care Referral Services of Oklahoma

Sometimes the hardest part of helping an aging parent is simply knowing what the next step should be.

This week, we're proud to recognize Senior Care Referral Services of Oklahoma, one of the early Educational Partners of ACAP Oklahoma City, and Lisa Ritchey, who has supported our mission from the very beginning.

Senior Care Referral Services of Oklahoma helps families navigate one of the biggest decisions they may face with an aging loved one: Where is the right place for Mom or Dad to live, and how do we know which option is right?

Since 2014, their team has helped Oklahoma families understand and explore senior living and care options, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, residential care homes and respite care.

That kind of guidance can be invaluable for adult children and caregivers who suddenly find themselves trying to make important decisions in a world they may know very little about.

And that's exactly what made Lisa and Senior Care Referral Services such a natural fit for ACAP.

When ACAP Oklahoma City was still little more than a concept, an idea and a belief that our community needed this resource, Lisa believed in what we were trying to build. She stepped forward as one of our first Educational Partners, offered her support and experience, and even served as a panelist for our very first ACAP Oklahoma City program.

đź’ś Lisa, thank you for believing in ACAP before there was much to see! Thank you for supporting our leadership team, sharing your knowledge with our families, and helping adult children and caregivers understand that they don't have to navigate these decisions alone.
