We Do:
We serve by showing up in our communities across Oklahoma, the United States and abroad to provide socks. Socks are the #1 requested clothing item, but the least donated. Socks are also the clothing item the wears out the fastest. We also aim to restore brotherly love, dignity, respect by offering different activities for the community to come together by serving while having a good time. We host several sock drives and sock packaging events throughout the year as well as offering free laundry service to individuals and families who need a helping hand in Central Oklahoma. We currently have laundromat partnerships in: NW OKC, NE OKC, SW OKC, Del City, El Reno, Norman and we plan to launch in Altus in 2021. What We’ve Accomplished:
To date we have collected over 140,000 pairs of socks. Those socks have reached those as close as Oklahoma City and as far away as Kenya, Africa. We have also provided over 11,000 families with the gift of clean laundry and fed over 3,000 people with our Nourish Neighbors initiative. We have worked with different organizations throughout the USA during natural disasters, including the Hurricanes of 2017 and provided aide to the citizens of El Reno after a F3 tornado destroyed their community in May 2019. There are many ways you can help! We are always looking to partner with businesses, organizations and churches to help volunteer at our events, host socks drives, packaging events and fundraisers. We also need help nourishing our neighbors when we provide our free community laundry days. We are also looking for sponsors to help us keep the good going in our communities.
