DID YOU KNOW?

Oklahoma’s Workforce Board offers paid workforce opportunities through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), a federal workforce program that helps job seekers access employment, education, training, and work-based learning opportunities.

Work Experience (WEX) is one pathway that may allow eligible participants to earn pay while gaining hands-on experience. Some WEX placements may include internships, job shadowing, pre-apprenticeships, summer employment, or transitional job opportunities designed to help individuals build work history and move toward long-term employment.

Interested in working with us?

Eligible WEX participants can earn pay for up to 240 hours of hands-on training while building skills in resource verification, data entry, outreach, administrative support, community platform development, and nonprofit partner engagement.
