Period OKC Providing period products, raising awareness of period poverty and working for menstrual equity. Join us and help us fight for period equity here in Oklahoma.

Period OKCity is a volunteer group dedicated to providing free menstrual products to people in need. Period poverty refers to the lack of access to menstrual hygiene. People who are living on the street or on limited income are faced with choosing food or tampons. The monthly stress and worry of how to manage their flow is harmful to an already disadvantaged population of our city. To fight period poverty in Oklahoma, Period OKC collects donations of money or products and we give them to local aid agencies who serve clients in central Oklahoma. We strive to eliminate shame and stigma surrounding menstruation by normalizing period talk, to fight at the state level to eliminate tax on menstrual products and to provide free products to schools.
