Brave United, OKCPF executives, along with the OKCPD Wellness Team are grateful for the recent visit to the St. Louis Police Foundation to support their fall luncheon and tour the Gateway Strength & Wellness Center (currently under construction).

It was an honor to learn from and stand with our Brave United members as they continue their vital work advancing first responder wellness across the country.

Thank you to Michelle, the Foundation and everyone involved for the warm welcome and for investing in the health of those who serve.

WELLNESS IN ACTION: THE 49 PROJECT 💙

This is what's possible when a department invests in the people who serve.

Last week, the OKCPD Wellness Team brought wellness resources, support, and tools together under one roof for their annual 49 Project, addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial wellness of officers and their families. The Oklahoma City Police Foundation was proud to support this incredible program.

A huge shout-out to the OKCPD Wellness Team for all their hard work and the amazing job they do for their peers. They are setting an excellent example for departments across the country, and OKCPF is incredibly proud of them.

At Brave United, we're proud to highlight and support officer wellness efforts like this one. Programs like the 49 Project show what's achievable when departments invest in their people, and we're committed to helping more communities get there. 🌟

Last week, Brave United members gathered for our very first virtual training, and we could not have asked for a better way to kick things off. 💫

Janeen Vogelaar, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Our Rescue, brought her expertise as a seasoned brand strategist and communications leader to share practical, actionable tools for marketing your foundation.

The energy was great, the content was rich, and the conversation reminded us why we built this community in the first place. No foundation leader should have to figure this out alone.

This is what Brave United membership looks like. If you are ready to be part of it, we would love to have you.

This is what it looks like when a community shows up for its officers.

On August 25, the 49 Project in Oklahoma City is bringing together dozens of wellness vendors and resources for OKCPD personnel and their families. Physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial wellness all in one place.

This is the kind of initiative Brave United exists to amplify. When foundations and communities invest in first responder wellness, lives change.

We asked attendees what their single biggest takeaway from the Brave United Inaugural Conference was.

The answer we heard over and over again?

"I'm not alone in the fight."

That's why we exist. That's why we brought foundation leaders from across the country together in Louisville.

And that's why we're already building toward year two.

No foundation leader should have to figure this out alone. No first responder should either.

Brave United.

After 35 years of service with the Oklahoma City Police Department, Deputy Chief Brian Jennings has officially retired, and we couldn't be prouder or more excited about what comes next.

Brian has been part of the Brave United family since the beginning, and now he's all ours. As our Chief Operating Officer, he brings decades of real-world law enforcement leadership to the work of building a national movement for first responder wellness.

Brian, your dedication to this mission has never wavered. We are honored to have you leading alongside us full-time.

The best is still ahead. Welcome to the next chapter. 🇺🇸

America turned 250 today. 🇺🇸

For 250 years, men and women in uniform have made sure this country had something worth celebrating.

While fireworks light up the sky tonight, thousands of officers are on duty protecting the celebrations they're missing. Brave United honors every one of them.
Happy Independence Day. 🎆

It's a wrap.👏

The Brave United Inaugural Conference has come to a close, and we are still taking it all in.

Three days. Louisville, Kentucky. Foundation leaders, law enforcement executives, wellness professionals, and advocates from across the country, all in one room, united by one mission.

We heard from extraordinary speakers. We toured the gold standard Summit Wellness Center. We shared meals, conversations, and the kind of connections that don't happen over a Zoom call.

And we left with something more valuable than any agenda item: a network of people who believe, as we do, that the men and women on the front lines deserve better.

To every attendee, speaker, sponsor, and partner who made this possible... thank you. You showed up for this mission, and this mission will not forget it. 💙

This was our first conference. We're already looking towards our next in Oklahoma City in 2027.
