We spent some time in Holdenville today! What a beautiful sight it was seeing dads reading books to their children! Because of these men, almost 50 books will be sent this week to their children with special messages of love and hope!

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to spend time with some fathers at Great Plains Correctional Center. We welcomed 10 additional dads to our program this season compared to last.

Because these men are working to stay connected with their families during incarceration, we we are now sending books to over 60 children across the state and beyond today!

So grateful for First Presbyterian Church of Edmond and the support they’ve given OMP for years!

We attended Mission Sunday with other partner agencies, what a blessing it was to see all the great work being done by so many!

OMP will be closed Monday, Sept. 7th - Labor Day which honors the contributions, achievements, and social and economic well-being of American workers.

We spent the day in Alva filming incarcerated fathers as they read books and shared messages of love for their children. It was a powerful day capturing these meaningful connections, and we are looking forward to sharing the completed videos with their families soon.

We had 30 moms come to our recruiting event yesterday at Mabel Bassett Correctional. This means more kids will receive loving messages and books from their incarcerated mom through our shared reading and connection program!

It was our great privilege to speak about our work at a luncheon hosted by one of our long-time champions and donors, the NW OKC Rotary Club.
