Thrive 4-H Outdoor Adventure Challenge Club An Ingham County, Michigan based, 4-H club focused on experiential education and outdoor adventure experiences.

Hurry, registration ends Friday!!!

Play, learn and explore with us at “Cloverbuds in the Great Outdoors” on August 12 from 9am-3pm at Grand Woods Park in Lansing! Participants will engage in a variety of exciting, interactive activities including crafts, nature hikes, a scavenger hunt, and more. There is no cost to attend and each camper will get a swag bag! The camp is open to all youth ages 5-7.

We are also looking for Eaton and Ingham County 4-H teens ages 12+ and 4-H volunteers to serve as counselors and volunteers for the camp.

Planning to go on a long hike or a day trip? Here is a list of must-have items to bring with you. Having it and not needing it is always better than needing it and not having it. 😊 Are there any items that you would add to your list of essentials?

🧭 Navigation (compass, map, GPS)
🔦 Illumination (flashlight)
☀️ Skin protection (from the sun or bugs)
🍫 Nutrition (food)
💧 Hydration (water and ability to treat water)
🔥 Fire (ways to create fire)

Take charge to eradicate the Invasive Alien Invaders! Learn how you can do your part to care for our environment by fighting back against alien invasive species. Participants will learn how to identify these invasive plants, which plants to pull and which ones to report through the national system. Explore your neighborhood, parks, nature walks while you do your part against these invasive invaders.
