We received a beautiful gift honoring PFC Christian Gurtner from the GoldStars Tribute Wall, which was displayed at Fort Fest in Fort Jennings. 🇺🇸⭐

This framed tribute holds so much meaning for Christian’s family and now has a special place beneath his photograph. Seeing his name honored and knowing that others continue to remember his service and sacrifice means more than words can express.

Thank you to everyone at the GoldStars Tribute Wall for this thoughtful gift and for helping keep Christian’s memory alive. ❤️

Halloween is right around the corner, and we’re excited to get into the spooky spirit! 🕸️

We’ll be out at the Van Wert Trunk or Treat, and you can also find the team in Ohio City on Friday, October 30th, for trick-or-treat! We’ll have plenty of goodie bags for the kiddos while supplies last. 🍬🍭

When we started the PFC Christian Gurtner Memorial Scholarship Fund, the goal was simple — keep Christian’s memory alive while doing something meaningful for our community.

Every event, every donation, every share, every person who shows up, and every bit of support helps us continue doing exactly that. 🇺🇸

We’re still growing, still learning, and still working on what comes next — but we are incredibly thankful for everyone who has chosen to be part of it.

This is for Christian. This is for our scholarship recipients. And this is for the community that continues to stand behind us. ❤️

We’re excited for everything still to come.

My family met Suzanne 23 years ago.
It was her job to deliver to me the most devastating news I would ever hear… the death of my son PFC Christian Gurtner
CW04 Handshoe was my CACO… causality assistance care officer
As a mother she knew the pain
She anticipated our needs before we even knew what they were… she held us together
I personally drew from her strength and it carried me through some very dark days.
I can honestly say she was the strongest woman I’ve ever met. Definitely a force to be reckoned with
The things I learned from her continue to carry me
My heart goes out to her family
Suzanne you will truly be missed
