Want to make a difference in our community?! Start by filling a barrel. 💛

Businesses, schools, churches, families, and individuals can host a UNC Sharing Shelf food drive barrel for one month and help collect food for our community pantry! 🥫🛒

It’s a simple way to bring people together and help keep our Sharing Shelf stocked for the individuals and families who rely on it.

🎓 Celebrating a special milestone!

On Thursday, we celebrated our 9th graders as they graduated from our program and prepared to begin their next chapter: high school!

While we will miss seeing them each day, we are so incredibly proud of who they are and all they have accomplished. We know they are going to do amazing things, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of them.

It was such a special and tender evening for everyone involved and a beautiful reminder of just how much we love the students and families we have the privilege of serving. 🥹

One parent shared:

“I wish he could keep coming here all through high school! I always knew he was safe and having fun when he was with you guys.” 💛

Moments like these remind us why this work means so much. Congratulations to our graduates! We’ll miss you, but we’ll always be cheering you on! 🎉🎓

Back to school, UNC style! 🎒✨

Our Back to School Bash 2026 was a success filled with fun, laughter, good food, community, and everything students needed to head into the new school year feeling ready!

We're so grateful for everyone who donated, volunteered, and showed up to support our local youth. We couldn't have done it without The Nilson Foundation .

UNC celebrated an incredible moment with the ribbon cutting of our new food pantry, The Sharing Shelf.

A huge thank you to Nilson Homes, George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, LaRose Paving Inc., Granite Construction, Utah Department of Workforce Services & P&G for being part of creating this pantry and to Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce for helping us celebrate in such a meaningful way. We are overcome with gratitude for everyone who showed up for us in the process and at the grand opening.

We are so eager to serve our community in this new way. Welcome, The Sharing Shelf. 🎉
