The full name for this amazing group is Youth Inspired Philanthropy, and for the past five years there have been creative, caring projects completed by our Keith County young people.

Very impressive! We love seeing Keith County resources enhance our community! Thank you one and all! Keith County Big Give

The new digital marquee at the high school looks great! The Ogallala Public Schools Foundation has been fundraising for this project through the Big Give for the past two years, and it’s great to see it come to fruition!

We love seeing the Foundation continue to invest in projects that benefit our schools and community. 🩵

Here at KCFF we talk a lot about belonging and community too. What would you share about belonging and Keith County?

Last week, we shared a simple thought: Community doesn’t happen by accident. Its value is more than a line item.

There is another layer to that conversation: belonging.

Participation gives people a role. Intentional connection helps people feel that they truly belong.

That sense of belonging grows through conversations, celebrations, shared experiences, laughter, and the memories we create together. It grows when people are not only invited to help with the work, but welcomed into the relationships and joy surrounding it.

These connections can be difficult to measure, but they are part of what makes a community feel like home—and what makes people want to stay, contribute, and care for one another.

Community doesn’t happen by accident. Neither does belonging. Both grow when we intentionally choose to connect—and when we recognize the value of creating opportunities for people to come together.

One simple way to begin is to show up. Explore the community calendar, find something that interests you, and be part of the experiences that bring Keith County together.
