Hey everyone, I hate to have to make a post like this, but I could really use some help right now.

A couple weeks ago, I bought a truck that we desperately needed for everyday life and for our rescue animals for 5k. After only about a week of driving it, we found out it needs both a motor and transmission—something that was not disclosed at the time of purchase weather he knew or not is a mystery. But there’s no effort to make it right..

The transmission is $2,500 and the motor is $3,600, putting us at over $6,000 in repairs, for me to do the work myself so there’s no extra labor cost. As a single mom of 4, this is just more than I can handle on my own right now.

This truck is essential for us. It’s how we get to vet appointments, handle emergencies, and haul hay and feed for the animals. Without it, caring for everything and everyone depending on me becomes extremely difficult.

I’m doing everything I can to figure this out, but I truly need some help. If anyone is able to donate, share this post, or even knows of affordable parts or someone who can help with repairs, I would be incredibly grateful. I’ve called so many salvage yards and the prices are pretty similar to buying new.

Today we had to say goodbye to Sven, and my heart is shattered.

What started as concern over everything I could see going wrong turned into something we never could have expected. The vet found that Sven had been shot with a BB gun, and it was lodged in his spinal cord. There was nothing that could be done, and we were faced with the hardest decision—to let him go peacefully and end his pain.

I can’t put into words how unfair this feels. He didn’t deserve any of this. He was so loved, and he knew it every single day.

Thank you to everyone who helped, reached out, and kept him in your thoughts. Please hug your animals a little tighter tonight.

Run free, sweet Sven. You deserved so much more. 💔

🚨 Emergency Help for Sven 🚨

Sven is currently on his way to the vet after being kicked in the mouth by Nash. We’re not sure yet if it’s a broken tooth, gum injury, or possibly his jaw. On top of that, he has no gut sounds and hasn’t had a bowel movement today, which is really concerning.and is extremely unbalanced and unsteady, he won’t eat or drink either.

He’s heading to Brock Vet in Lamesa right now, about an hour out and it’s going to cost $500–$600 just to diagnose what’s going on. This price includes blood work, ultrasound, X-rays, and a few medications. I was only able to send $175 with my friend who is transporting him. Between my dog dying last week, the truck braking down yesterday, going through a separation, and now this I’m just stretched incredibly thin and this couldn’t have happened at a worse time. I’m a single mom of 4, work full time and attend college full time. And I’m just trying to do my best.

If anyone is able to help, even a little, it would mean so much right now. Every dollar goes directly toward getting Sven the care he needs.

I just wanted to come in and make an update on Nash.
We’re doing so well, his coat is coming in beautifully, shiny and HEALTHY! I just wanted to take a minute and Peep his coming juicy b***y. By no means are we there yet but the progress this boy has made over the last 3 months is amazing. After the last few days I’ve had I just spent some time watching everyone this morning and it made me emotional seeing his progress and how hard work, love and commitment is all these guys need.
