Heads up Keystone community!

This yellow sign is at the corner of Tarpon Springs Road and Jorene Road.

On September 14, 2026, at 9 AM. The developer/land Owner will be having a Land Use hearing asking Hillsborough County to grant their application for variance to build a multi Business strip Center at this corner. Their application states in part that it is a hardship for them to have to meet our Land Development Codes requirement’s for wetland setback and the landscaping and buffering as this is not a requirement for other developers/Land owners to meet with larger parcels. The property size is 1.67 acres. There is a pond that this property is adjacent to, and they’re required to build a wall and a storm vault to protect it from runoff.

What can you do ? If you are opposed to this application then please contact our County Commissioners before September 14.

What could you say if you are opposed? Please try to be specific on your issues and concerns regarding a multi Business strip Center at the corner of Tarpon Springs Road an Jorene Road. Also include the application number VAR. WS. 26–289..

Keystone Civic Association has had a busy couple of weeks!

We closed out May with an awesome General Community meeting. What a great turnout! Thank you to all those who join us! We look forward to seeing you at our next general meeting on June 25th!

Then we started the summer with so much fun! On June 4th it was our Quarterly First Responder’s appreciation day! We are so grateful for the women and men that serve our community!

We closed the evening out with our quarterly social at Three Brothers Pizza! It was a fun couple of hours sharing our family’s history and lake stories!

This morning we had a strong showing for our road cleanup! Thank you for making our community look so good! Pictures will be posted soon!
