Please share and help us spread the word.
Please help find this lost cat and get him back to his owner. Flip, a ~10 year old orange and white, neutered male cat, accidentally fell out of a screen window at his home in Friendship Colony last Sunday evening (Mar 22nd). He is very sweet, but extremely shy and unlikely to allow anyone to approach him besides his owner. He was caught on a Ring doorbell camera on Monday night (Mar 23rd) in Avalon, but had disappeared before his heartbroken owner could arrive.

If anyone sees him, please text Laurie Martyniak at 860-942-6518, as soon as possible, the time and location of the sighting. Since he might run away from strangers trying to approach him, we think tracking his location will be a huge help in narrowing down the search. If we know where he's hanging around, we might be able to reunite him with his owner or perhaps trap him. Thank you to all who have helped already and we hope to have happy news very soon!

Thank you so much for the recognition. We are happy to be able to help. We also thank our generous community who donate to our group. We couldn't do it without them!

From all of Sheltering Hands and the many cats in our community, we want to say thank you again to the Marion County FL SPCA ! The SPCA of Marion County provides a monthly grant to our clinic exclusively to cover the cost of Spay and Neuter surgeries for cats in this area. By removing the financial barriers where money stands in the way of surgery or there is no direct owner to manage the wellness of the cat, we are able to provide more of these services to animals in need. Thank you to awesome individuals in this group for giving back to the animals of your community!!!!

Hello. The woman that was killed in the head-on collision Monday night was my ex-wife and the mother of my 4 children.
We were married for 13 years and spent that time together living in Minnesota.
She moved to Cedar Key three months ago with 3 of the kids and I stayed in MN with our oldest daughter because she wanted to finish this school year there.
I am here now taking care of the other kids before we will all be leaving in a few days to go back to MN.
There are 4 dogs here that need to be re-homed. I cannot take them with unfortunately, so if you or someone you know are able to help, please reach out.
They are all young dogs. White one is a male, the other 3 are females. Chihuahuas.
6 months, 1 year, and 2 years old.
I really can use help with this.
Thank you.

Benjamin.

Subject: A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Support of Cerberus

Dear SPCA Team,

I am writing to express my deepest, most sincere gratitude for your incredible generosity in covering the veterinary expenses for my dog, Cerberus, during his recent illness.

When Cerberus became sick with a condition called "Strangles," I was overwhelmed not only by the worry for my best friend’s health but also by the unexpected financial burden of the medical bills. Your support was a literal lifeline for us.

Because of your assistance, Cerberus was able to receive the high-quality care he needed without delay. I am happy to share that they are now back to their happy self!

The work you do to keep pets and their families together is truly life-changing. Please share my thanks with the donors and staff members who make programs like this possible. You didn’t just pay a bill; you gave me peace of mind and more precious time with my companion.

Thank you again for your kindness and for everything you do for animals across the country.

With immense gratitude,

Alicia Ramirez
