IT'S TIME TO NOMINATE A SPECIAL LADY IN YOUR LIFE...FOR "A CROWN WELL DESERVED"!

The project committee is seeking nominations of women, of any age, that are deserving of a crown. They could have done something amazing, achieved something important to them, they could be facing a major health issue with dignity, or they could have done something really small that had a really big impact on someone or something. One lucky lady will be chosen each month to receive her very own tiara, sponsored by Vandemark Jewelers in Elyria.

If you have submitted a nomination on the past, please note -- it is on file. No need to resubmit for the same person. All nominations are kept on file and reviewed monthly.

All tiaras will be delivered in person, when and where the situation allows.

Please Note: If you nominate someone and they are chosen, as the "nominator", you will be asked to help plan the presentation. Don't worry...it's fast, easy and painless. 🙂

Today, Wednesday, October 16th, is National Feral Cat Day.

And since we share our home with six of the most amazing, smart, beautiful and affectiona feral cats, I dedicate this special day to them.

These 5 girls and 1 boy are living their best "feral" lives inside our home!

If you ever have the chance to help a feral cat...please do. It will change your life...and theirs!

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO ELI...

Eli has been at the Lorain County Dog Kennel since June 27, 2024.
As of today, October 15, 2024, that's 81 days! He's the longest "resident" there!

To make this hit home, imagine being locked in a jail cell, through no fault of your own, for 81 days!

Eli is looking for his forever home and I believe it's out there...somewhere. Could it be with you?

Age Guessed around 2-3 years old
Breed - Mixed breed
Weight 55 lbs
Vaccinated - has all shots except Rabies
Neutered - not yet, but will be as part of his adoption (included in the fee) - Fee is $106 - includes neuter and 2024 license.
Likes/Dislikes/quirks: Eli came in as an untrained wild child of sorts. He was friendly, but jumped a lot - no manners. He has had training sessions a few times a week now and the difference is night and day! He's done well with other dogs - loves people - and now walks nicely on a leash, plays nicely and no jumping! His adoption will come with free training if requested.

IMAGINE YOURSELF BEING IN A JAIL CELL...THROUGH NO FAULT OF OUR OWN...FOR 130 DAYS!!!!!!

Breed: Mixed breed
Weight: 55 lbs but could use a few more.

Likes/Dislikes/quirks: He LOVES to play - loves squeaky toys - loves to get attention and snuggles. He likes other pups who match his energy. He doesn’t seem to like super hyper pups.
