Eso es muy preocupante. Solidaridad con Radio Victoria. Comunicación en voz alta de lo que realmente está pasando es un derecho humano

📢🚨🆘 // Agentes de la Policía Nacional Civil, amenazan a periodista de Radio Victoria - Arpas, haciendo uso de fuerza excesivo.📢🚨🆘

📌La noche del viernes 10 de marzo, agentes de la Policía Nacional Civil agredieron con golpes a un civil. Un periodista de la Radio Victoria, presenció el hecho y se acercó para hablar con los agentes, argumentando que lo que estaban haciendo era ilegal e inconstitucional. Ante esto, una agente cargó el fusil que portaba y amenazó al periodista apuntándole.

Desde la Red Salvadoreña de Defensoras de Derechos Humanos, condenamos este uso arbitrario y excesivo de la fuerza por parte de la PNC y nos solidarizamos con nuestras compañeras y compañeros aliados de la Radio Victoria.
Exigimos al Estado responsabilidad en su actuar frente a la crisis sanitaria ocasionada por la pandemia de COVID19, que se respeten las sentencias de la sala de lo constitucional y se limite el uso arbitrario y excesivo del poder y la fuerza por parte de agentes uniformados.

On March 15, 1981, the "scorched earth" military operation of more than 7,000 soldiers entered Santa Marta, El Zapote, y Peña Blanca, communities in Cabañas, El Salvador.

In the next days, the army killed everyone and everything alive it found, forcing hundreds of rural working families into exile and massacring refugees. Today, March 18, is the 39th anniversary of the massacre at the Rio Lempa.

The Salvadoran military received arms, military aid, and training (including at the School of the Americas, now WHINSEC) from the United States that greatly increased under the Reagan administration. At the time of this massacre, the United States was sending about $400 million dollars a year to the Salvadoran military.

39 years later, the people who were murdered at Lempa are not forgotten. We must all honor their memory by organizing for universal human rights and organizing against capitalist imperialism.
