Christopher Companies was proud to recently participate in the May Care Day event hosted by HomeAid National Capital Region in support of Cornerstones.

Our team joined fellow NVBIA Future Leaders volunteers to assist with yard cleanup and landscaping improvements designed to enhance the curb appeal of several affordable housing townhomes and create a more welcoming environment for residents.

Thanks to a combined 130 volunteer hours served, volunteers helped save Cornerstones an estimated $4,680 in labor—along with donated mulch and flowers that made an immediate impact on the community.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and support organizations making a difference locally.

On May 19th, members of the Christopher Companies team spent the day volunteering at The Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows, helping w**d and maintain crops that will provide fresh produce to local food pantries throughout the season.

Since 2019, the farm has grown and donated more than 240,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables to those in need—and that incredible impact would not be possible without volunteers.

As Season 8 officially begins, the farm is working toward growing more than 50,000 pounds of produce and engaging over 1,000 volunteers this year. We’re proud to support such an inspiring mission and help make a difference in our local community.

We’re proud to once again support HomeAid’s Annual Diaper Drive through the Christopher Cares Foundation—helping provide essential items to babies and toddlers experiencing or at risk of homelessness in our communities.

We are getting ready to kick off Builders for Babies, our annual community-wide drive to collect diapers and wipes for local nonprofit partners supporting families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This is one of the most powerful ways our community comes together, and we can already feel the momentum building.

This year, we are going all in. Our 2026 goal is to collect one million diapers and wipes by Father’s Day, June 21.

That’s right. ONE MILLION.

It is an ambitious goal, but it reflects the growing need in our community and the incredible impact we know is possible when we rally together. Every donation helps ensure families have access to the basic essentials they need to care for their children with dignity.

There are two main ways you can get involved and give back in a big way:

Host a Collection
Rally your coworkers, friends, Girl Scout troops, book club, school, or faith-based organization to collect diapers and wipes. We will provide a toolkit with everything you need, from social media templates to drop-off checklists. Email Michelle Fargher at [email protected] to get started.

Donate Online
Short on time? No problem. Visit our website, choose how many cases you want to donate, and check out. It is that easy. You can even donate an entire pallet of diapers.

We are excited. We are motivated. And it starts on Mother’s Day, May 10.

🏡 Celebrating Home & Community! On September 27th, 2025, Christopher Companies proudly joined Habitat for Humanity DC-NOVA for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a beautifully rehabilitated home in Alexandria, VA. Thanks to our support, Latifa, Jaouad, and their daughters now have a safe, stable place to call home.
