Do you know a senior in need this holiday season? 🎄

The City of Oakley is hosting an Angel Tree for local seniors. If you or someone you know is interested in being a recipient of this program, please fill out the fill out the linked form with your information and your item request.

Qualifications:
🎁Must be a senior 55 or older
🎁Reside within the City of Oakley
🎁Have a reasonable item request of $25 or less

Angel trees will appear in the lobbies of City Hall & the Oakley Recreation Center starting Monday, November 2nd. Community members are welcome to come out and adopt an angel off the tree. All gifts must be dropped off at the Oakley Recreation Center by Wednesday, December 2nd. All angel tree recipient deliveries will be between December 9th and 17th.

We encourage everyone to drive by each home to take in the full effect of the decorations before voting. Voting ends on Sunday, October 25 and the winner will be announced the following day. Oakley, thank you for your patience as we rescheduled Howl-O-Ween!🐾

Join us on Wednesday, October 28th from 4pm to 5:30pm at Koda Dog Park during your nightly walk with your furry friends 🐶 The evening will consist of giveaways for the first 50 dogs, a costume contest, and more! The Oakley Youth Advisory Council will also be hosting a fundraiser for local adoption agency, JoyBound Pets.

Are you looking for a night of fun for the whole family? At the November Family Night Out, we are bringing a magic show to Oakley with Magician Perry Yan!

🎩Doors open at 5:30pm
🐇Magic Show begins at 6:00pm

Join us for an evening of magic, mystery, and fun! Stop by our popcorn table to grab a free snack before the show 🍿

Please note, all children must be accompanied by an adult. All family members participating must register. Registration is available online at www.oakleyca.gov/RecRegistration or in person at the Oakley Recreation Center.

Oakley, our tickets for Breakfast with Santa are LIVE! 🎅Join us for our Annual Breakfast with Santa! On Saturday, December 12th, have breakfast with Santa at our Oakley Recreation Center (1250 O’Hara Ave) 🍳

Guests will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and capture the moment with family photos. Our pancake breakfast will include eggs, bacon, and beverages. There will be a make-n-take holiday craft and a small gift from Santa for the children.

Pre-registration is required for this event and tickets will not be available at the door. This event sells out each year, grab your tickets ASAP for this can't miss event!

Residents: $12/per person
Non-Residents:$22/per person

Join us for our last Movie on Main Street of 2026! On Friday, October 16 we will be showing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie! 🍿🎬🌙

Grab your blankets and picnic baskets to join us at Civic Center Park for a fun-filled evening for the family.

Before the movie starts, play themed trivia and challenges, corn hole, and more. You may even win a special prize! The fun will begin at 5:30pm at Civic Center Plaza, the movie will begin at dark. Free popcorn and soda will be available with donations collected by the Oakley Youth Advisory Council.

The Oakley Police Department welcomes the children in our community to help them spread holiday cheer by designing the holiday card that will be sent to other law agencies!
The contest is open to all children in grades Kindergarten through 6th who live in Oakley or attend school in Oakley. One winner will be selected in each age group (K-3 & 4-6) by the OPD officers and will also be awarded a set of cards to send to family and friends, as well as a $25 gift card. Winning designs will be on display at one of the marquees!
Scan works best, but you can also take a picture of your design and upload it to the link above or drop it off at the Recreation Center office at 1250 O'Hara Avenue. If you drop off your design in person, please include the following:
Parent's Name, Parent's Email Address, Home Address, Child's Name, & Child's Grade
