All the programs you see here are in full swing and it’s been incredible watching students show up, try new things, and bring the energy every single day 🙌🔥

On Tuesday, we celebrated the completion of the resurfaced and upgraded fields at Cesar Chavez Education Center, and what a day it was! From community smiles to getting active on the field, the vibes were unmatched 🙌

YES! Sports spring season starts TOMORROW‼️🥳

We’re so excited to welcome our YES! Sports families to an incredible spring season full of movement, teamwork, and FUN across OUSD school sites. Students will get the chance to try new sports, build skills, make friends, and experience the joy of play every Saturday.

From basketball and soccer to skateboarding, volleyball, and more, there’s something for everyone this season!

📅 March 14 – May 16, 2026
🎉 Saturday sports across Oakland elementary schools
🚣 Special boating event at Lake Merritt to wrap up the season
