I know noone likes rules and regulations, but since we're trying to make this a legit club, I really think we need to make it a club rule that: 1)all shooters and bystanders need to have hearing and eye protection on while the range is hot; and 2) the members take turns at each shoot being rangemaster.(rangemaster being the person who oversees safety, making sure range is cold before anyone goes downrange, etc) Naturally, everyone is responsible for safety, but a dedicated rangemaster just adds to it overall. Safety is the most important item in a shooting environment, we need to make sure we have stuff in place to make sure everyone is safe at all times, especially since we're introducing kids to fi****ms. Thoughts or concerns?
