d sports. Our mission is to prepare them for success, not just on the field but in every aspect of their lives. Who We Are
At SPAAT, we understand the unique challenges today's student-athletes face. With education budget cuts, overcrowded schools, and overwhelming student-to-counselor ratios—such as 1:760 in California—many students are left without the guidance they need. This is especially true for student-athletes whose focus on their sport can leave them unprepared for the academic and career transitions ahead. We step in to provide the critical support these students need, helping them navigate their future with confidence. We believe in their potential, and it’s our duty to empower them with the tools for academic and professional success. Our Impact

Big-time opportunity for the next generation.

This week, our scholar-athletes got an inside look at what it takes to compete at the next level—hosted by Head and the entire Hornets football staff.

From live spring ball practice to a full campus tour, our athletes experienced:
✔️ The speed, discipline, and energy of a Division I program
✔️ Direct access to coaches and player development insight
✔️ A real vision of life beyond high school athletics

This is what exposure + preparation looks like.

Locked in. Focused. Listening. Learning.

These young women showed up to Athletes CODE ready to grow — leaning into conversations around leadership, college access, financial literacy, and the New Athlete Economy. This is what preparation looks like.

The future isn’t waiting. They’re building it.

Stagg HS ➡️ Delta College ➡️ Friends University ➡️ NE Patriots ➡️ Super Bowl LX!
Amazing story!

🐎🏈 This Super Bowl Sunday, Delta alum and Stockton native Jeremiah Pharms is taking the field on football’s biggest stage as a member of the New England Patriots, facing off against the Seattle Seahawks!

We couldn’t be prouder of Jeremiah as he represents Delta College at the highest level of the game. His journey reflects the grit and perseverance we see in so many of our students.

While at Delta, Jeremiah earned a full-ride football scholarship to Friends University (Kansas), where his talent and leadership caught the attention of multiple NFL teams.

Join us in celebrating Jeremiah Pharms ( #98) on this incredible milestone! 👏

Huge shoutout to our football coaching staff, faculty, and administration for the daily work you do to support our student-athletes.

Jeremiah joins fellow Delta Mustang Amini Silatulu, who played in Super Bowl 50 (2016) with the Carolina Panthers.

At McClymonds High School, SPAAT is more than just a program—it’s a family. To strengthen relationships and foster a sense of community, we hosted a special breakfast at Lois The Pie Queen a Black-owned staple that has been a part of Oakland’s history for 80 years, representing love, legacy, and togetherness.Students and their guardians sat down, shared a meal, and connected in a safe space—because preventing violence starts with stronger families, deeper conversations, and real support. 💬✨Special shoutout to Eric Foster he top Life Coach in the Bay Area, for always leading with wisdom and heart. 💯Together, we’re building a foundation for success on and off the field. 🏆
