I am an African American seeking transformation to my African Self. As a native of Oakland, CA, and a graduate of a Masters in Education - Equity and Social Justice in Education at San Francisco State University. My thesis entitled Afrocentric Education Children and Youth, and It's Necessity in Education and Development of African Children and Youth. My vision and goal is to create an Educational

Resource Service that centers on African and African American History, by providing TRUE Knowlege to African and African American Communities, I hope to empower and uplift my people to their greatest potential in society. The Chinue X Project has been established to:
1) Serve as a educational conduit for Afrikan's and African Americans'
Transformation to their African-Centeredness or African Ness.
2) Promote discourse on Afrocentriciy in Children and Youth within the
educational system by providing alternative African-Centered curriculum.
