Therapy Dogs Olivia and Annie are truly a gift from God. When working at a memory care facility this past week, Annie and Olivia calmed and deescalated an agitated participant, they helped one of our nonverbal participants express feelings with a smile, and they brought joy to everyone they met. Seniors with Alzheimer's are so very dear to my heart, and this visit was truly a blessing. Thank you, God, for the opportunity to work with Canines for Christ and share your love, kindness and compassion through the paws of these two Shelties.

Last visit of this school year to Oakhurst Lutheran Preschool! We love our preschool kids! Our visits include dog tricks, reading to the dogs, and dog training. The kids' favorite part of our visit is when Junior Handler Emma demonstrates how to train your dog. This week, the kids were shown how to teach stay and come. Amazing to watch the kids grow in confidence as they work with our therapy dogs Annie and Olivia.
