Dottie is a happy playful puppy. She loves her stuffed animals and chew toys. She enjoys playing with her people. Dottie takes daily walks when it's the coolest out. She is in a foster home near a lake and enjoys playing in the water. Dottie also walks on a public trail near the home and is good meeting other unknown dogs. Dottie sleeps in a crate overnight without getting up. She goes outside to potty right after leaving her crate. She is a smart girl and goes outside to do her business. She is a good eater, but has to eat separately from other dogs while eating. She thinks she has to protect her food probably because in the past she had to. Dottie knows the "sit" command. She is very athletic. She can literally jump hoops. She will go to the side of a kiddie pool to get her toys, but only goes in the water at the lake. She might be tempted by the fish. Dottie would do great in an active environment. She would love playing with adults or kids. She would also do well with young adults who like to go hiking, boating, camping and other outdoor activities. Dottie came from Louisiana to Wisconsin to find a loving home. Pesto is an amazingly sweet 1 year old Australian shepherd mix breed female dog from Louisiana. She came seeking a new life built of love and security. Although Pesto is only a year old, she has been through a lot. She was reported to be a stray, and was taken in by someone for a short time. The new owner reported that the neighbors might be shooting at her. Pesto was taken to a vet clinic where they noticed a large growth on her neck and an injury to her right eye. It was advised that the eye and the neck growth needed to be removed. The new owners decided not to keep her at that point. Fortunately, some caring people raised the money to have both surgeries. The growth was not cancer. She sees well with one eye. Personally, I think she looks like she is winking. Pesto is the most laid back super sweet dog I have ever met. She is potty trained and sleeps on her own bed without getting into things. She plays well with other dogs and people she meets. She likes going on her walks. She favors having stuffed toys. She would be great with kids. She wouldn't jump on them. She enjoys playing and sitting in the shade. All Pesto wants is a loving home that she can feel secure in. When thinking about getting a dog, consider meeting Pesto. She is beautiful inside and out. If you meet her, you will be amazed at her love and kindness despite the challenges she endured. We would like to introduce you to Mouse. This little shy guy with the cutest floppy years is learning that coming to Wisconsin was the best trip he could have made. Mouse Loves to play with his bigger foster sister. He hasn’t understood what toys are for....yet. He’s quite content to hang out in his kennel or close by you on the floor. Mouse has enjoyed his walks and does great on a leash, has great manners – doesn't jump up on anyone and sits for leash and treats. He will also sit in front of you when he wants pets. He’s still in the process of trusting so we feel that a calmer home setting would be best.

The lucky 9! Well they were 39 other ones that are just as lucky but we're a little biased because these are coming to us!

They will need lots of vetting and we're still collecting donations for that!!

We will also be offering foster to adopt if anyone is looking. These are not dogs that are available right now. They will need to go into foster homes whether they're with the intent to adopt or just regular foster homes to get acclimated to see a vet and move onto their forever!

Tomorrow our President will be making the trek to pick up our NINE of the pom/chi hoarding dogs. We will need vaccines, dentals, spay/neuters, pregnancy checks and much MUCH more. We will need a couple more fosters (patient fosters) and donations to tackle this!! We also still need $1000 for Taz! Please help where you can!
