2026 SPONSORSHIP INVITATION 🇺🇸

The Stanly County Veterans Group is currently seeking sponsors for the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Weekend Car, Bike & Truck Show, Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Downtown Oakboro!

We're inviting local businesses, organizations and individuals who would like to come alongside us and help make this year's event another success.

Your support helps us build this event while continuing our mission of serving, supporting and honoring Veterans throughout Stanly County and our surrounding communities.

Throughout the coming weeks, we'll also be recognizing the businesses and individuals who supported our inaugural show in 2025, along with the returning and new sponsors who step up for 2026.

🇺🇸 NATIONAL ANTHEM SPOTLIGHT 🇺🇸

One of the special moments from our inaugural Veterans Day Weekend Car, Bike & Truck Show was hearing Julie Aldridge perform our National Anthem.

We are incredibly grateful to Julie for lending her voice to an event centered around honoring our Veterans, and we're proud to announce that she will be returning again this year!

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 IT’S TIME — LET’S DO IT AGAIN! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Last year, more than 60 cars, bikes and trucks rolled into downtown Oakboro for our Veterans Day Weekend Car, Bike & Truck Show — and that was after Mother Nature gave us rain the day and night before!

What happened next was something special.

Veterans, families, car enthusiasts, motorcycle riders and members of our community came together for a morning dedicated to honoring those who served. Representatives from veterans organizations throughout Stanly County joined us. The coffee was hot, the donuts were free while they lasted, the parking filled up, and some incredible cars, bikes and trucks competed for Best Car, Best Truck, Best Bike and Best in Show. 🇺🇸💪

We're posting it because YEAR TWO IS COMING.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be announcing sponsors, special guests, trophies, raffles, attractions, volunteers and plenty more.

So shine it up. Polish the chrome. Charge the battery. Get that bike ready. Get that truck ready.

Standing Together in Difficult Days

This has been a difficult week for people who are part of, and close to, the Stanly County Veterans Group family.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of , a dear friend of one of our members, who passed away this week.

We also mourn the passing of , brother of Ben Beachum Beacham, President of the . Ben and the Ain't Right Riders have stood beside and supported members of the Stanly County Veterans Group for the past two years, and today we want them to know that we stand beside them.

Our own group has not been untouched by hardship. Last Wednesday night, one of our members was involved in a traffic accident. We are incredibly grateful that he is okay, but he has a period of healing and recovery ahead of him, and we continue to keep him and his family in our thoughts.

Weeks like this remind us that community isn't only about gathering together when things are good. It's about showing up when hearts are heavy. It's about standing beside the people who have stood beside you.

To the Lawson and Beacham families, to the Ain't Right Riders, and to our own member as he continues to recover: you are in our thoughts, you are part of our community, and you do not stand alone.

We stand together.
