DID YOU KNOW...

The groundwork for the first official meeting of the IRVFC Ladies Auxiliary was developed and held on January 7th, 1954, at the home of prospective member, Evelyn Morris. Inaugural officers were installed shortly after by the State Association President, Mary Uhler, at the Spear’s Store located in Oak Orchard. The first official officers were as follows:

President - Mrs. Emily Colebourn
Vice President - Mrs. Daisey E. Pride
Secretary - Mrs. Ivah Hastings
Assistant Secretary - Mrs. Grace Tate
Treasurer - Mrs. Louise Wilkins
Assistant Treasurer - Mrs. Angela Birl

What a great day at our Drive-Thru Fried Chicken Dinner fundraiser yesterday.

We can’t thank our community enough for the incredible support. The rain held off, the chicken was hot and ready, and for the first time in a while… we even had a moment with no wait.

From our dedicated volunteers to every single person who came out to support us, you made this event a huge success. Events like these help us continue to serve and protect our community, and we’re so grateful.

We hope everyone enjoyed their meal as much as we enjoyed serving you. Stay tuned for the next one!
