This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up tent, shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Built thing? Hiked? Earn rewards for doing these things in the Cub Scouts. Cub Scouts belong to Packs and Dens.As Cub Scout, you will be part of your own pack. The pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. Each den has abou

t six to eight boys. All of the Cub Scouts in your den are in the same grade and may even go to the same school. Cub Scouts Earn Awards. Each time they complete an accomplishment or learn a new skills, you will be rewarded. Sometime the reward is a patch.Sometime it is a smile on your parents faces to see you grow and learn.

Our Story

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 3618. We are a family pack located in Oak Lawn, IL and consist of boys and girls. Many of our scouts attend Sward, but we also have scouts from Kolmar, Hannum, Burbank, and home school kids. Here at pack 3618 we focus on family scouting. Parents and family members are actively involved along side their child. We are recruiting kids from kindergarten through fifth grade. Kindergarteners and first graders require a parent at all meetings. Grades 2nd through 5th don’t require a parent at all meetings, although we highly encourage parents to stay and help out. All of our leaders are volunteers and we work together to run an engaging, fun and educational program.

Our pack meets on most Sunday nights from 6-7:15 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church off 97th and Brandt, a block from Sward. Several outing throughout the year occur. Things we have done in the past include: pinewood derby, santa visit, brookfield zoo tree lights, hikes, camp sullivan bunkhouse, rock wall climbing, family campouts, stem night, cubanopolis, cubmobile derby, summer camp, volunteering at a shelter for dinner, wood projects, fishing derby, campfire cooking.
