In a world where some still question the value and potential of people with Down syndrome, we choose to celebrate their strength, joy, achievements, and humanity.

Every person deserves to be seen for who they are, not reduced to a diagnosis or a prediction.

A chromosome does not determine worth, purpose, or the impact a person can have on the world.

The answer to fear is understanding.
The answer to misinformation is reality.
And the reality is beautiful.

GiGi's Playhouse NYC is seeking new members to join our Board of Directors.

As we continue expanding our impact across New York City, we’re looking for committed leaders who are passionate about inclusion and advancing opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Board members play a key role in helping us strengthen strategic partnerships, grow community awareness, support fundraising efforts, and ensure our purposeful programs remain at no cost to all participants and their families.

We welcome conversations with professionals across nonprofit leadership, education, healthcare, law, finance, marketing, and community development who are interested in lending their expertise to a mission-driven organization.

If you’re looking to make a meaningful impact through board service, we’d love to hear from you.

What a wonderful way to start the spring semester at GiGi’s NYC! 🐾 Today, we welcomed Cody, a certified therapy dog, and his owner Peggy, through the Good Dog Foundation, to visit our GiGi U students. Therapy dog visits help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, encourage social interaction, and provide comfort and emotional support. ❤️🐶

Thank you to the Good Dog Foundation for making this possible.

We’re looking forward to a great spring with many upcoming programs! Make sure you check out our calendar for spring programing here: https://ow.ly/zJUx50YFrRO 🌸✨
