Women's Equality Day is tomorrow and we can't think of a better way to honor it than by attending the Dedication of South Newbury Union Chapel - National Register of Historic Places. Hope to see you there at 6 pm.
August 26 is Women’s Equality Day. PLEASE JOIN US WEDNESDAY AUG. 26 AT 6 PM ON THE UNION CHAPEL LAWN TO DEDICATE OUR OHIO HISTORICAL MARKER TO CENTENNIAL OAK.
Ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.
Seating is limited but lawn space is not, so please feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets.
Parking is available but limited at the Chapel. Overflow parking is generously provided at Faith Baptist Church, 12010 Snow Road, at the corner of Rt. 44. Shuttle service via van will be provided between Faith Baptist Church and Union Chapel by Willo Transport prior to the ceremony and after until 9 p.m.

Bat House tour and talk, courtesy of Geauga Park District. Union Chapel is home to Geauga Park District’s “Bat Condo,” a nursery roost for Big Brown Bats, Little Brown Bats, and their offspring.
Touring South Newbury Union Chapel and the historic grounds of the former Anson Mathews property, now known as the Krehlik Property and owned by Geauga Park District.
Information tables on Union Chapel, Geauga Park District’s Union Chapel archaeological dig, and League of Women Voters of Geauga. Union Chapel merchandise on sale will include
Cat’s Meow Village Union Chapel, Cat’s Meow Village Centennial Oak, and limited edition art prints.
