I want to send out a heart felt thank you to Pam Doss, The Citizens Bank of Edina, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines for the $10,000 dollar grant that we received at our July Fire meeting. Pam was the driving force for us to receive this grant. Please thank her when you see her in the bank or out in public.

This is just a few of the men and women that tolerated the heat today to provide our community a fantastic meal! We want to thank every single person that came out in support of our event. Your donations of time, funding, and food tells us to be extremely thankful to have friends that want to help one another.
Be on the lookout for another event this fall!

The Fish and chicken is frying. We got onion rings ready to do a taste test. Sides are looking so good and the desserts should be eaten first. Come with an empty stomach and enjoy the company today at the American Legion Hall in Novelty. Food will be available starting at noon til 2pm. Make sure to thank our volunteer fire fighters for their service.

Tomorrow, July 19th we are having our fish fry at the American Legion Hall in Novelty. It will start at noon and run til 2pm. Please come out and visit with your neighbors/friends over a home cooked meal.
We will also have to-go plates that you can fill and enjoy later.

We had a great turnout of help from our Novelty-Plevna Volunteer Fire Department this afternoon. Fish is prepped and ready for tomorrow. If fish is not your favorite, we will have chicken too. We will have a variety of sides and desserts to enjoy!
If you want to participate, but have to dash, we will have to-go plates that you can fill up.
Remember to come out and enjoy lunch with us and your neighbors at Novelty Legion Hall starting at noon til 2pm. Drinks are provided.

We want to remind all our friends and neighbors that our Fish Fry is next Sunday starting at noon. Please come and enjoy what our guys have fried up and what our ladies in the community have contributed for sides and desserts.
