Open to anyone aged 65 and over, our hubs provide a welcoming space to make new friends, enjoy activities, hear from guest speakers, access digital support and health advice, and take part in day trips.

With hubs now running across Broxtowe, Gedling, Newark & Sherwood and Rushcliffe, they offer opportunities for older people to come together, share experiences, learn something new and build lasting friendships. From games and quizzes to practical support and informative talks, there is something for everyone.

Whether you're looking to try a new activity, meet like-minded people or simply enjoy a chat over a cup of tea, you'll always find a warm welcome.

Yesterday, our Collingham, Farndon, Gladstone House and Hawtonville Best Years Groups all enjoyed a trip to Skegness! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿฆ

The weather couldn't quite make its mind up, treating us to both sunshine and showers, but we made the most of it! ๐ŸŒฆ We hit the beach, tested our luck in the arcades, enjoyed an ice cream or two, and somehow managed to avoid bringing half the beach home with us ๐Ÿฆ

We're looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to join our lovely team as a Group Assistant at our Best Years Group in Eastwood (Every Friday | 10:30am-12:30pm)

In this role, you'll help create a warm and welcoming environment for our members by:

โ˜• Making and serving drinks
๐Ÿช‘ Setting up tables and chairs
๐Ÿงฝ Helping with washing up
๐ŸŽจ Supporting activities and chatting with members

Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new people, build confidence, gain valuable experience, and make a real difference in your local community. Most importantly, you'll be part of a supportive, friendly team where your time and contribution are truly appreciated.
