๐๐ NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS WEEK IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! ๐๐
What a fantastic way to kick off Day One of National Volunteers Week! ๐
Today we are celebrating our amazing volunteers with a special party at Bingham Arena, bringing together some of the incredible people who give their time, energy, kindness and compassion to support communities across Nottinghamshire.
Su & Tarah are also out and about in Newark & Sherwood delivering thank you gifts with our colleagues at Newark & Sherwood District Council ๐ซถ
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether they're befriending someone who is lonely, supporting community groups, helping at events, driving positive change in their local area or simply offering a listening ear, their contribution makes a real difference every single day. โค๏ธ
This afternoon we're enjoying great company, lots of smiles, plenty of cake and some fantastic entertainment from the wonderful Georgia, who is helping us get the party started and bringing plenty of energy to the celebrations! ๐ค๐ถ๐
National Volunteers Week is all about recognising and celebrating the people who give so much of themselves to help others, and we are incredibly proud to work alongside such a dedicated, caring and inspiring group of volunteers.
