The Butterfly Service provides non-clinical care and support to people in the last year of their life, helping them and their loved ones navigate a challenging time with compassion, dignity and kindness.

Our volunteers make a real difference by offering practical support, helping people get to hospital appointments, providing companionship and helping to reduce loneliness and isolation. Whether it’s supporting someone to attend one of our friendship groups, helping with shopping or prescriptions, or simply being there for a friendly chat, your time can mean so much.

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable volunteers who would like to make a positive difference to people and families in their local community 🫶
