We had a GREAT time celebrating with everyone! So much heart and dedication was put into this project and we cannot wait to get things fully operational!

We are incredibly proud of the entire Pink Feather Foundation team and all they have accomplished for children and families throughout our communities. Today marks the grand opening of their very own permanent home. A dream made possible through hard work, dedication, and the support of so many local businesses and community members.

We hope you'll join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone and help welcome Pink Feather Foundation to their beautiful new location!!

Closing the door tonight and I contemplated waiting to share this…but you’ll still want to come see it in person tomorrow!

I was standing in front of the outside project that I knew was well beyond anything that we could tackle. So what happens with PFF? You put it out there and this is what we got!!!

It is SO BEAUTIFUL!

Jeff and Aimee at The Dirtstore showed up in a BIG way with the materials that Jess couldn’t wait to get her hands dirty with! No rules just low maintenance and she was so excited to have the “make it pretty” pass and WOW did she nail it! And once again that neighbor of ours at Kobacks Garage jumped in and prepped the dirt for the project! Phil worked his magic and made doing a walkway look like it was a breeze to do!

Here at WOXO one of our favorite humans is Jen Kyllonen from the Pink Feather Foundation. Jen and her team of incredible volunteers and board members have created one of the most beloved foundations in Western Maine. Their open house and ribbon cutting is happening Friday June 12th from 4:30p-7p at the new Pink Feather forever home 65 King St. in Oxford. Please share if you can! Special project from a childhood friend is being handled by my daughter Sadie!

Much like moving into your first new home it’s so exciting to make it special in your own way.

We can’t wait to show you around and CELEBRATE with you on Friday!

This makes it feel REALLY official!

This was quite the sign crew at 65 King St!
BIG thank-you to my son Rudy. He handmade some spacers to hang it with and handled the job with 4 women (easy task, right?) like a champ!

And Kobacks Garage helped bail us out again with a tool so we could get this beauty hung!

It was another busy long but fun weekend getting settled in and orders filled! We are very excited to Open the doors this Friday and CELEBRATE!!!
