Newest update for us… I’ll be moving to New Hampshire soon… at first I thought rebranding or just moving this nonprofit with us would be the most sensible thing to do. However with fees to do all of that and complete lack of storage for the equipment is just more than I can handle at this time. So there will be no more Casey’s Journey. It was a great run, I’ve learned, I’ve healed and met some amazing people along the way. I have memories to carry me through. I know Casey is looking down on me and very proud of everything I’ve accomplished since he went home to heaven. Thank you all for your donations, support and love. It’s been one hell of a ride but I wouldn’t change anything. If you have any questions, concerns or places where we can donate current equipment please let me know. Hello everyone! I just wanted to clear up why the event was canceled. We had to rent a hall for the event and with less than 20 people confirmed we just couldn’t make sense to rent the hall so we decided to do it privately. Sorry to anyone this inconveniences

A lot of changes have been happening on my end. I have moved out of the area, but my main focus is to keep Casey’s journey sports scholarship in the Oxford Hills community and have all events and fundraisers in Oxford Hills. I come to the area frequently so if you still need equipment or scholarships, please reach out. Casey’s Journey team will be trying to spread into my new community and other schools so we can help more children and families. I will be updating the website fairly soon so keep an eye out for that. I have not gotten a date yet, but please keep an eye out for Casey’s memorial soccer game coming up should be in the next couple of weeks. We are also planning a Taco ‘bout Casey celebration of life yearly event for Casey every October 25. This will be a taco dinner fundraiser. Still working out details so keep an eye out for that as well. Casey’s Christmas will continue again this year for the 3rd year in a row. That event is also being planned currently. Stay tuned! Wanting to continue an event Shane Wilson created last year… called Casey’s Clinic. This is where kids can learn basketball skills. At the end of the event all kids receive a Casey’s Journey bag and get to keep a basketball. Last year we did a small group of same aged kids. This year I would like to try 3 different age groups 5-7, 7-10 and 10-12. I would like to try and do 3 different days as well. I’m looking to see if there is someone willing to help Shane teach these kids basic basketball skills. Also looking for places to hold this event. FREE EVENT!! As you all know I run the snack shack for the town of Paris. Usually I run it during the week with my mom but shes pretty unhealthy and shouldn’t help as often. Im putting this out there for anyone who wants to help or has a kiddo that needs community hours for school. When I know who wants to help I’ll create a group chat in messenger. I’m looking Mon-Fri 6-8 pm. There’s not a game every day. I have schedules and will post weekly in the group chat. Let me know!
