Mission Moment

When people think of Dream Big Project, they often think of scholarships, and while we're proud to support students pursuing higher education, our mission extends far beyond a scholarship award.

Throughout the year, Dream Big Project works alongside students, families, schools, volunteers, businesses, and community partners to create opportunities that empower young people to succeed.

Our work includes:
🎓 Scholarships and educational support
🎒 Backpack and school supply distributions
🤝 Volunteer and service-learning opportunities
🌟 Student leadership and ambassador programs
🏫 Classroom and school partnerships
💙 Community events that connect and uplift families

We believe that student success is built through opportunity, encouragement, meaningful relationships, and a community that believes in their potential.

CALLING ALL DREAM BIG PROJECT VOLUNTEERS!

Help Us Create Dream Big Project’s First-Ever Official Look Book!

For years, we’ve dreamed of creating Dream Big Project’s very first official Look Book, a publication that will showcase our story, impact, student success, apparel collection, community partners, and the incredible people who have helped make our mission possible.

Now, we’re looking for a dedicated team of volunteers to help bring that vision to life.
Whether you’re a high school student, college student, graduate student, professional, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, we invite you to be part of this special project.

Volunteer opportunities include:
• Graphic Design & Layout
• Writing & Content Creation
• Photography & Photo Editing
• Project Coordination
• Community Partner & Donor Features

📍 Remote Opportunity
🖥 Work from home
📅 Flexible commitment (approximately 3-6 hours per month)
🤝 Monthly updates and collaboration via Zoom and/or email

We’re looking for volunteers who are:
✔ Creative and detail-oriented
✔ Passionate about education and community impact
✔ Reliable and able to meet deadlines
✔ Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

This is an opportunity to help document Dream Big Project’s history, celebrate our community, and create something that will inspire future generations.

Last year, Dream Big Project proudly awarded a scholarship to Angelyna Conde as she prepared to begin her journey at Texas Tech University.

Today, she's competing in the Women's College World Series.

Stories like Angelyna's remind us why we invest in students. Scholarships are more than financial support, they are an investment in dreams, potential, and future leaders.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported Dream Big Project during our Spirit Night Fundraiser at Chick-fil-A Imperial & Bloomfield!

Because of your support, we are able to continue investing in programs and opportunities that benefit local students and families attending NLMUSD schools.
